Cindy is a registered of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). In addition, she has a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from University of London.
Cindy Chan addresses a wide range of health concerns in her daily practice, including pain management (shoulder, elbow, wrist, back, knee, ankle), fatigue, stiffness, digestive system health, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), irregular menstruation, gynecology, depression, anxiety, insomnia, TMJ, geriatric care, and electrical muscle stimulation. She employs diverse therapeutic modalities to ensure optimal results, such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, gua sha, cupping, and trigger point therapy. She is currently based at the Bonifier (YiCi) Health Centre in White Rock and North Surrey
Cindy has a solid academic foundation and has undergone extensive training, including: * Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree from University of London. * Graduated with Master in Medicine of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and TuiNa in Chinese Medicine Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. * Earned her Doctorial in Medicine of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and TuiNa in Chinese Medicine Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. * Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R. TCM.P.) in Hong Kong. * Registered Acupuncturist (R. Ac) in Maritime Association of Registered Acupuncturists. * Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R. TCM. P.) in BC. * Registered Doctor of Acupuncturist (Dr. Ac) in Aberta.
